As winter wraps around us, we are settling in for the quiet and cold. Reading, knitting, sewing and cooking is occupying my evening free time, while John is working to get the furnace going in his new shop.

Only a few photos to show from our fantastic holiday adventures. Guess I was having to much fun to take the camera out.

This ended up being one of the most memorable made gifts of the year. My sister, Em, has a tradition of doing origami with money as a made gift for my brother day. This year, as the story goes, was a bit challenging and after several attempts and much frustration she ended up making origami money 'beach towels'. Hilarious!
