fun with collages
My sister, Emily, and I have been taking a photo class at Bangor photo the last couple of months. It has been very informative and helpful, including inspiring me to get to know not only my camera better but also photoshop (elements 9).

Believe it or not, I had never made a throw pillow cover before this past week. Something I had wanted to try out and finally got a chance too. My favorite ended up being the simplest (and hardest to see in this collage) but is in the upper left photo - it is in a single fabric with an edge. The others match quilts we have around the house. I think these will come in handy with a new baby to cuddle with!

Happy New Year and 38 weeks!
New Years Day and Baby R is 38 weeks! Here's hoping she comes sooner rather than later! (i am jinxing myself, for certain).
I typically use the new year as an opportunity to do some goal setting and reflection, but this year just don't seem to have the appetite for it. Perhaps after the baby has arrived and we have settled in (say in 2018?) I will be able to get back to that.
